While Sinister 2 was a commercial success, grossing over against a modest $10 million budget , it faced a more difficult reception than its predecessor.

Released on August 21, 2015, (stylized as Sinister II ) is the supernatural horror sequel to the critically acclaimed 2012 film Sinister .
